The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!
This is my first time participating in this meme and I am very excited to meet new bloggers! If you want to follow me, you can find me on Google Friend Connect & on Bloglovin'!
This Week's Question:
Have you ever broken up with a series? If so, which one and why?
I don't believe I've ever broken up with a series necessarily. I think it's more of "The books were okay, and I might read other books in the series, but I think there are better things to read so I may or may not pick up the sequel." But if I can think of one series that I don't think I plan on finishing, it's the Beyond the Reflecion's Edge series by Bryan Davis. I read this in I believe 7th grade and I just didn't really enjoy it as much as I wanted to. It could have been that I was too young to understand it or my mind just wasn't open enough, but I do not plan on reading the sequel. I may re-read the book though. I don't know yet. Probably not.
Wow...that was a longer response than I expected.
Thank you for checking out my blog! Please leave a comment and say hi! Let me know if you follow me and how so I can follow you. I'm really happy to have joined the book blogging community & am excited to see what's in store!

I haven't heard of the series, but I do think I recognize the author. I read the first book in his Starlighter series. I haven't finished that series and don't think I will.

I've actually never heard of this book before, but I agree, there are so many books to read, and so little time to read them. It's much better to try to find books we'll enjoy :)
Thanks for stopping by my FF post earlier. I'm following you back via Bloglovin'.

Yep, I think that's as good a definition as any of 'breaking up'.

I have several series that I started when I was younger, that I often wonder if I would enjoy more now that I'm older. I just have a hard time knowing if I should risk the reread, when there is so much else to read for the first time.
Thanks for stopping by my blog this week! I'm now following you on Bloglovin'!

Hey, welcome to Feature & Follow! I haven't really broken up with a series either. I have this thing where it would probably bother me if I didn't finish one, lol.
